That's the one thing I'm holding on to. We are playing like crap and it is still close games.

I really want to see Thabo step it up, he has it in him and has been doing it he's just not consistent with it.

If the NBA is really "fixed" then yeah we win game 4, 6, and 7.

I guess Jim Rome is predicting the Heat to be victorious then...

Very true. In game 1 win the Thunder played well but not like they have proven they can play. Games 2 and 3 were a couple of their wost games of the season. Even then the missed free throws would have made up the difference. Also Hardin, Ibaka and Sefolosha especially need to have good games and have not been. Brooks made a good call in getting Perkins out and Collison in early for game 3 and then Collison got in immediate foul trouble. We just need a good, solid game.

Agree with what most of you are saying. We've yet to play up to our potential in the Finals thus far. I'm hoping that now that our backs are against the wall the boys respond!

Well they played an amazing 1st quarter for a change...now if they could just combine it with playing strong in the last half they would win. :-P

Westbrook is fighting with everything, but yeah the rest look wiped out. Not good. Can we pull a little 4th quarter magic again?

Hate to be "that guy" but these refs are dreadful tonight.

    So...nothing much different tonight?

I am not watching it, I get tired of yelling at the TV......

The officiating is just as criminal as it has been throughout this series. The agitating thing is that the Thunder would still be way ahead in this game if they weren't having the invisible lid problem with all of their shots inexplicably rattling out despite good looks. Anything Harden puts up...

I can't decide which is worse in this game tonight - the horrible calls or the horrible sportscaster....HORRIBLE!

    Word.

Say what you will about him, but Charles Barkley and TNT runs circles around these fools.

Westbrook drives to the basket like crazy and aggressively all 4th quarter and only one time he gets fouled? Seriously, that's three games in a row where it almost seemed like two different sets of rules. And yeah, I hate being 'that guy' too. But.... damn.

Maybe the whole thing is give LeBron his ring this year and Durant gets his next year? I dunno.

At least the home team won the first ever NBA Finals game to be played in OKC.

True, the refs sucked, but its extremely rare for a team this young to win it all. We've got a bright future, I can wait one more year.

If one positive comes out of this game I hope people finally get off Westbrook's butt. He is an amazing player and OKC is blessed to have him

Lebron is probably getting his ring. He should get an Emmy as well for the superb acting job he did in the 4th quarter. Next stop, Hollywood!

I wish NBC still carried NBA games. As for the Thunder I think this series is over.

Game 4 was given to the heat by the refs. Plain and simple! Now, we know that in the NBA, players, coaches, or anybody else cannot blame the refs for deciding a game. However, a real case can be made for the outcome of this game.

Looking past the atrocious refereeing, another reason for G4 is because The Thunder were not able to knock down shots at the end. They haven’t been able to do it at the end of the past 3 games. I guess Charles Barkely is right when he said “I don’t know if the Thunder can win a NBA Championship because they are a jumpshooting team”.

Another case for the lost tonight was the play by Harden. Westbrook was great, keeping the thunder in it. The Heat were denying Durant the ball all game long.
Harden only scores 8 points. That cannot happen if the Thunder want to win in Miami or at the Peake.

I still think OKC can win but it isn’t looking favorable at this point. The country and the world got what they wanted, LeBron vs Durant. Maybe that is what Stern wanted. And maybe it is true that Stern wants James to get his ring. Whether or not he as the influence to make things like this happen, is debatable. However, I would have to agree with this, if Lebron and the Heat win, it makes for better media coverage and the more coverage, the more advertising dollars you get. Just better for business I guess. The last small market team to win the Finals was Bill Walton and the Trail Blazers. That was 35 years ago when basketball was not the big media extravaganza that it is today. Stern said that when Oklahoma City has over 1000 hotel rooms available in downtown, then he would consider us hosting an all star game. I heard there wasn’t enough hotel space to accommodate the media for the First 2 games.

I love OKC and the Thunder. I really don’t want to believe this, but I wonder how much of it is true. I still have faith that the Thunder can win game 5, but it is wavering just a bit.

I wish James Harden was good at basketball again. He's been absolutely awful in these Finals.

The Thunder were in a hurry
Its been somewhat of a flurry.
    Last year it was the
    Western Conference Finals
And the Mavericks put us in Denial.
    Two thousand twelve
Is the season the Mavs have shelved,
And just the same, the Lakers twelve.
    The Thunder has tried,
    To Thunder the F-bomb Up,
    But the relentless Heat
    Has severed our cup.
One game to prove the nation that,
    WE, Thunder Domination
Can bring the series back to OKC
And forge through the thought of elimination.
My mind is weary, my vest is tried,
My soul says 'Screw you Miami',
    Im Thunderfied!

I don't think it gets better than the last three close losses for the Thunder. The players got too emotionally upset at the criminal officiating and you could see it affect their play and decision-making. Can Brooks take any official action whatsoever, like file a very quiet request for a different officiating crew or something?

Thunder and Heat Finals reminds me of Magic-Lakers Finals

Magic-Young and has inexperience in Finals
Thunder-Young and has inexperience in Finals

Lakers-Old and has experience in Finals
Heat-Old and has experience in Finals

Thunder has room to grow, it is just not their year

I hope my Magic and Thunder will meet in the Finals next year

Key to Thunder victory - stop shooting 3s. If you have a wide-open 3 then drive to the basket instead. Also, if you get fouled and the refs don't call it - STOP POUTING AND GET BACK ON DEFENSE!!!!!
