Those prices a bit higher than what I was quoted, but what I saw was not firsthand.
Any more news on Waffle Champion or any other retail tenants?
Another $75,000 building permit for the 3,000 square foot space adjacent to Waffle Champion.
No idea of the usage.
speaking of Waffle Champion...
ok...sorry for the interruption... back to your regularly scheduled discussion...
Im not completely sure of its use, but the gentleman who owns waffle champion had told me a few months ago that his wife would be opening a retail location next door to his restaurant.
Plans to add a perforated metal screen to this project as a part of building out for Waffle Champion, retail to the south and an office tenant facing east:
Pretty cool way to make a base for the signage below. I approve!
Yep, love this development and think Waffle Champion is going to be smash hit there.
Love the sidewalk seating as well.
Waffle place 5 minute walk from my place=won't be losing 20 lbs this year like I planned.
Great improvement, more density, and walkability. Love the sidewalk seating.
Maybe walk 5 minutes in the opposite direction first?
Anyone who rents from Midtown Renaissance, how frequent do openings come up here or, say, The Cline or Hadden Hall? I'm in love with these properties and would love to grab one of these spots whenever they pop up.
Here's the "Dry/shop" moving in next to WC.

ANNOUNCEMENT: First, I would just like to say how very much we miss all of our fans and assure you that we will be back out serving on the truck as soon as we have a comfortable jump on a few more things restaurant related.. We are a small operation doing a very big thing and we appreciate your patience. Construction at the 1212 building has officially commenced as of a few weeks ago. Look for a steady stream of photo updates and a new blog focusing on that starting next week.
Now for the big news, we are excited to officially announce that we now know our new next door neighbors will be another local, independently-owned concept... OKC's First Blow Out Bar, DRY/SHOP. Check em' out on Twitter/Facebook!! Dry/Shop
Cool! Great location for this concept and I bet they do well.
That area of Midtown is about to explode... Just wait until the Osler/Embassay and The Edge are complete.
I love the idea of a blow out bar there. Excellent news.
I like the concept for OKC, and I like vacant urban space being filled, but don't agree about location. It's primarily a medical and business corridor, although residential is going up everywhere. This will only cater to a select demographic of women. I'd rather see something that has a broader mass appeal, but hey can't complain, it's progress.
Graphic up in the Dry Bar space... Is that our Sid??
Which one?
They have a bunch of window graphics up, more than just that one, they also have vinyl signage.
