Around 10 years ago, one of my clients was in discussions with Fresh Market about building a location on their commercial real estate in northwest Oklahoma City. I was able to view the proposal, building specs, etc., and really thought this deal was going to happen.

Fresh Market decided against building here then because OKC was too far from their market area at that time. With them being in northwest Arkansas now, I can only assume that they continue to keep Oklahoma on their radar. Maybe Tulsa first?

Tulsa's Fresh Market is at 81st and Yale and opened in 2012.

Interesting. I may have known that 10 years ago but had since forgotten. Makes a new location in OKC all the more logical.
