I haven't seen it in person yet, so I'll reserve judgement, but from photos it seems like it could be toned down slightly without losing the general effect.

ok, maybe it is the pictures then.
Oklahoma City, the RENAISSANCE CITY!
It's been keeping me awake at night shining through my window and I live almost to Yukon.
I drove by on I-35northbound then onto westbound 40 and from a distance the downtown looked better than it ever has. IMO.
When First National and BancFirst get lit up it will be even better.
Bright Lights, Big City. OK Im with that. As long as it's not tacky.

Traveling on N.W. 10th Street at the top (I-44 entrance) of the hill, you can see the impressive OKC skyline with The Omni and Paycom Center lit up in green--it's breath taking.
While, after seeing them in person multiple times, I'm on team "the green lights really aren't too bad in person (and I think actually look pretty good) and photos make them look much brighter" it was kinda funny to see the arena last night with the super low cloud cover. The glow looked very Ghostbusters/Batman/movie apocalypse. I wasn't able to get a great photo as I was riding in a car, but it gives you the gist.
I'm sure it's not any different than with the previous lighting setup, but the green is definitely more, um, "noticeable."
(And, FWIW, these are unmodified iPhone 13 Pro Night Mode photos. Is probably pumping up the green color a bit, but is pretty consistent with what I was seeing with my eye.)
Yes it was crazy looking last night with the low clouds.
I saw someone on twitter say it was time to steal something else from Seattle.
The Emerald City
I drive by the Paycom campus on Memorial every morning to get to work and with the green lighting it looks like Minas Morgul from Lord of the Rings.
dang it's really making that grass look green
I think you can see the glow from it on the Virtual Railfan camera right now

I took this on Sunday night:
Pumpkinville, one of the most treasured fall traditions in Oklahoma City, celebrates pumpkins, mums and everything fall. This year families can explore the Land of Oz and enjoy imaginative displays created in the Children’s Garden with pumpkins, gourds, haystacks, cornstalks and mums. Play hand-crafted games, participate in activities, and enjoy unlimited rides on Mo’s Carousel and special treats.
The lighting hate on social media for this is pretty strong. I would not be surprised to see a revision at this point.
Looks like some of the photos are taken on a cloudy night. Light reflecting of low hanging clouds can make the light brighter than on a clear night. I'm just saying. Don't come for me!
The Myriad Botanical Gardens is now fully Green on one side at night. When it is up and running again I am sure they will want their expensive lighting that usually lights up the gardens to be seen. I don't have a problem with lighting, but if it is so bright that it distracts from other lights that we spent money on, then I have a problem. They can dim those green lights.
