We like to view ourselves as an entertainment area, with golf...not the other way around. I've been three times already and last night there was a group of girls who definitely didnt know how to golf, but i kept hearing them shout and scream "I got points!" Or something like that. They didnt care that they sucked haha, they were happy to be there. I HIGHLY encourage it if your just looking to have fun, you most certainly dont have to be good to have a good time

The first time I hit a ball at TopGolf in Allen, it just ended up rolling over the front side of the bay. My friends and I died laughing and everyone could tell we were just there for fun. Throughout the day, we heard other groups laughing hysterically, too, so it was comforting to know other people were hitting crappy. It's just a really fun place!

I went there last night with Dan Krutka and our wives. It was very busy when we arrived at 6:30pm.

We sat down at a table in the dining area to get something to eat while we waited for our hitting bay. The food was great but the service was a bit slow. They seemed understaffed and a little overwhelmed.

Overall it was a good experience. I expect them to work out the kinks pretty quickly as the crowds will just continue to keep coming. Can't wait to go back!

Great fun place... BUT service tonight was horrible. Sat in dining area for over 20 minutes with no service. Waited on food for hour and finally came right when bay ready. Very uncoordinated. Still fun but they have some nice sized wrinkles to iron out.

Had same experience as the last couple posters.

A lot to do, but service was horrible.

Also I feel like you should get a discount on your bay charge if you are on the first floor. The second and 3rd are amazing. The patio upstairs is super cool and would be clutch for a small reception or something.

Went last night. Our server was great, but it took way too long to get drinks/food ect. I think she was working 3 bays. And when each bay has 6+ people it can really bog things down. I think they need a hal smith type setup where everyone kinda helps everyone. Two drinks in two hours in not acceptable. They are leaving too much money on the table.

Yup that is exactly my experience the same night. Our server brought me 2 drinks in the timespan that I would have easily drank 4 or 5.

I was out of town but a group of my friends went saturday night and i asked how it went. Waited about 2 hours at 5pm but finally got 3 bays. They said service was once again terrible and averaged about 1 drink an hour. Way too many runners, not enough servers. The 3 bays they had had one server who just overwhelmed. Something has to give. They need to let you order at least drinks from a touch screen. The fact that you wait so long then when you get in there to play it feels like it takes longer is going to turn a lot of people off.

ON a side note, some other friends of mine have a few Platinum memberships with thier business and they get to skip the wait times (I only try to go with them). They get treated like rock stars up until you get into the bay, where the consistent problems catch up. If you pay that much for a membership you need a dedicated server for your bay. That should be an included perk.

Am I the only person who thinks the nets are a huge eyesore? Thought it was cool at first when it initially went up, but now they bug the crap out of me being in my eyesight with nothing close by even coming close to the eye pollution these nets cause.

I've been enjoying TopGolf quite a bit. Once you get your players card, the wait isn't bad at all. On Friday/Saturday nights..you might have a 20-30 minute wait for your bay, but it gives you some time to down a few shots, to get primed for the occasion. The live DJ, and rooftop bar is quite the place on Saturdays nights. I've also been the last two Sunday mornings. The sun in your face, creates some issues...but by 10:30 or so...its more overhead, and you are shaded. (Obviously, this will change throughout the seasons)I was somewhat surprised, that all the bays were already full by 9:30 AM. But they have their Sunday/Funday, so they're serving up Mimosas and Bloody Marys. The brunch menu is pretty tasty as well, as I've been smashing on the Eggs Benedict. So, regardless of ones preference for golf...or skill level, it looks like this place is going to be extremely successful.

you are the 1st person I have heard that the wait is under an hour.

On Saturday we had a 5 hour wait, every weekend there is at least a 3 hour wait, so Filthy, I am very surprised you got a bay in that time frame. Just for everyone else, I wouldn't expect that lol.

It sounds like they need to build a 2nd one.

I said it before: This concept was made for OKC. Not at all surprised they are overwhelmed by business.

I had heard they may be looking in Norman. I think the metro could easily support both.

Just a heads up, if you don't want to wait, you can purchase a priority pass ahead of time. It costs $50 but you pretty much jump to the front of the line when a bay opens up. We went a couple Saturdays ago, and I talked to some guys at the bar that had been waiting for 3.5 hours. We showed up and were given a bay almost immediately. Easily worth the $50 if you ask me, especially when you have a large group.

It's still brand spanking new. Come February when it gets cold the waits will get to a reasonable amount of time

Spoke to a couple of friends who have separately gone the last 2 weeks and this was their experience, waits in the 2+ hour range. They also said the service while waiting was abysmal. When they were successful in waving people down they were told that there was a server for their section, just not them, and just not sure who it was. Sounded like chaos.

Definitely going to wait it out before making that long trek from Norman.

Maybe a different company, I know for a fact in the next couple years they are building in Tulsa. Norman would be news to me.

There are roughly 20 in the whole country, but in the next five years there will be 45 more...

They did tweet out a few days ago they were hiring so maybe more help is on the way.

I'm sure they have been looking for people since opening. Its just tough because of the high number of retail establishments concentrated in that area.

Hopefully the waits aren't too bad in a couple months. Will make this a destination for a weekend trip.

As for FlyingTee, it'll be good for Tulsa, and I highly suspect it will be successful given it's location (Jenks, South Tulsa).
As for Tulsa being able to support two of these types of facilities (TopGolf), that remains to be seen and I would be suspect of that.

Amenities like these keep people interested and invested in the city. The more stuff like this pops up, the less we hear people say "there's nothing to do here." Which drives me absolutely nuts.
