This. And that's why the horrible officiating of college, and for that matter pro, football is so aggravating. I want games, all games, decided by the players playing the game. Not the officials.

It did set up for a great ending and it had a great ending . The non penalty didn’t change that at all. You could see OU driving to try and tie it up or win with a TD to end it or OSU defense getting a stop. Can’t ask for a better ending than that.

No I’m pretty sure I live in reality. OSU did in fact hand OU a big fat L. That is the reality. Unfortunately, crying about officiating won’t change it. Best to work toward acceptance.

Reality is 91-19-7 and 15-4 in the Gundy era. I haven't suggested that officiating cost OU the game but reality is OU beat OU Saturday much more than officiating or OSU had anything to do with it. Reality is OSU having the 10th best winning percentage in the last 10 years and never being in the playoff. Reality is being so good and never sniffing a top recruiting class.
I used to root for OSU except when they played my Sooners. But so many OSU fans lived in this fantasy that a win made them the best thing to ever happen and that they could then just trash the true reality made me hate everything about OSU. Sorry but you fit the mold!

In this day and age of video review, there should be a way for Venables to have used a red flag review request on what was clearly a correctable play.

Given that they cited the Kansas loss as their reasoning for putting OU behind Texas and Alabama, they’ll probably still put OU ahead of OSU because they lost to a glorified high school at home by 26 points in what was arguably one of the worst losses in the history of the big 12. Still have no idea how that happened.

All tickets are electronic now. To buy tickets from another person they text you a link to the electronic tickets. I've never had to do it but I know a number of people that have and they've had no problems.

They went to all electronic during COVID. Maybe some have returned to having an option and some not?
The couple of people I get tickets from when they can't go both have said their tickets no longer have a PDF option to print them. I wonder if season tickets are electronic and single game can be either or something like that.?

I'm glad for a win in our last Big12 game. But Venables still has a lot of work to do on our defense. Next year he'll have his recruits so I expect improvement.
