I sure didn't think that 2014 date was accurate. Especially at the pace they are moving I figured if anything it might get done sooner than late 2012. Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss some announcement. I'm really looking forward to watching the pad of the tower go in. Awesome stuff!
As recently as a couple of weeks ago, Devon said they were on or ahead of schedule.
the comments below the article are pretty amusing. people will complain about anything
pretty sure they said they were still ahead of schedule despite all the bad weather... could be mistaken
Here are some pictures from today 2/24/10
Sorry for the Flickr link, but I've been unable to figure out how to upload photos to here.

Yeah, thanks for posting those. They were excellent!
I really liked #583, with the sun behind the crane.
Here are a few more photos of the Devon site. These are taken at night and I've taken a few more close ups of the site work. Once on the site click on View as Slideshow for larger images.Devon Tower Construction Stock Photography - Images | Alonzo Adams Photography
That's the one. WOW.
It was an amazing scene down there yesterday...so much activity and NOISE! You don't really get a sense of the scope of the project until you stand on the top of the east garage and look down. I was amazed and highly recommend a trip downtown to see it for yourself.
My favorite.
Very nice pics..
Awesome shot of downtown!!! Geeze.. to think that the Devon tower will almost be too tall for the picture.. Crazy!
Nice weather today, so I went downtown to get some pics.
The crane
The van
The webcam is somewhere up there
Forgot to add the shots I got of the west garage expansion:
Whats up w/ that black glassless panel on The Oklahoma Tower?I know it's been like that for years!anyways great pix OKCdrummer!!!
Thanks for the great pics. and, for including "The Van".
I was just up there a few minutes ago, haha.
Here's me:
Pictures (about two hours after OKC Drummer):
The size of the site is huge once you see it in person.
I took this the other day at the airport - you can see the crane, I think someone asked what the crane looked like against the skyline, maybe this'll help.

Damn good photos!
Downtown even looks a little more compact and broad.
Thanks, to all you folks who are taking the pics. on site. The web cam is nice but, your pics. really show some detail.
Holy crap! Now that's detail.
Thanks for posting those close-ups SkyWest!
