Happy to see it tied to a growing technology firm based in OKC. The various other options would have been fine, but this is really good for the city from a positioning and outward perception standpoint.

Probably the best outcome. Now just really want to know the price tag.
I love it!
All that new LED lighting should look sharp next to the Omni and convention center and Scissortail Park.
I agree on the LED lighting. It has needed some spark for a while. even the spotlights perched on street lamps in corners of the arena I haven't seen operational more than a few times.
It’s too bad green isn’t a main color in the Thunder palette
This will be great for our city. Beginning a new 15 year era for Paycom Center.
The Thunder and Paycom announced Tuesday that they have agreed to a 15-year naming rights partnership.
Terms of the deal were not released.--Oklahoman, July 27, 2021

Pete, we know you will keep up informed with following this story with first class pics, ...of LED lighting and indebted stories. We appreciate and look forward to your reporting.
Great Choice OKC
Oklahoma City, the RENAISSANCE CITY!
I think the name itself is fine, colors are fine, but I do not like that it's all lower case and that Center is italicized. Makes it look cheap IMO, but other than that it's better, if not for the simple fact it's less wordy.
I still can't believe they turned down the $2.89 I raised with my GoFundMe to name it the SuperSonic Center
Do we know if the LEDs will only be green or if they can change as needed?
I definitely like the lighting improvements if that is the real, final design. Plus, I assume the broadcasts using the arena as their backdrop will be forced to pick up new imagery for it and hopefully that might include some nice views of Scissortail, the Omni, and the Convention Center. Too bad the land on the south side of the arena hasn't been developed by this point.
And yeah, Paycom is good branding for the city on a national and international level.
so either paycom got over the Thunder Organization using their chief competitor in ADP, or maybe they were able to get that to change too... But that is what i heard caused Paycom to possible step back at the last minute. maybe that was just a ploy to see if they could get a better deal? but i could also see that they really wanted to get the Thunder to switch. But if the Thunder didn't switch, then i guess it wasn't as big of an issue as i was led to believe.
I think Paycom Arena flows off the tongue a bit easier. But all-in-all this is a great deal for the city and Paycom alike for exposure.
I like everything about this announcement. The arena in that render looks fantastic.
Now we need the Loves patch gone.
There are already electronic billboards on I44 with the Paycom Center on them.
Somebody on social media called it the Direct Deposit Dome.
