Stillwater Regional Airport Still Pursuing Commercial Air Service

We have driven to Wichita and Dallas Love before for flights on Southwest that have been significantly cheaper for the same dates that OKC was offering. We don't fly American nearly as much, but for fun sometimes I will price out Lawton and Stillwater just to see if there is a "flash" price drop on a destination. Wichita is definitely easier to get to and closer by about an hour.

The free parking at SWO can add up in savings too for longer trips especially if you are flying international or a longer business trip and having to go through DFW anyways.

We have driven to Tulsa as well as Wichita for flights. It is rare and has been when the entire family of five were going so the savings was X5 which made it worthwhile. If the flight was several hundred dollars cheaper....would make the drive worth it assuming Stillwater has free parking. I don't look at Stillwater as we fly Delta 95% of the time but that may be changing with the new changes to their loyalty program.

Stillwater Airport still has free parking.
