Hiya gang! As of right now you'll all be enjoying "Seven forty-five left in the first quarter" (haha!). Sorry that I couldn't make it tonight! I miss you guys.. I'm back in the city for the weekend, but I'm in rural OK the most of the rest of the time this month, with very little internet access... blah! Keep me posted on the events though! I'll pop in as much as possible. Don't give up on me... just have a few more months of rotations and then boards!!! And of course, as always, if you know of anyone needing a PA, I'm in need of a job! Do we a have a "help wanted" thread? Post lots of pics from tonight.. and I look forward to hearing the reports and fun stories of powdered sugar and cotton candy!

Sorry you weren't able to make it tonight OSUPA. It was a light crowd - me and my daugther, Keith and his wife and mranderson.

My daughter and I left after the 5th inning. She was tired and hot and I have to admit I was getting that way myself. It was 1-1 when we left. Haven't heard an update yet.

We were able to get two passes for free tickets to any remaining Redhawks home games, including playoffs, which start next week. Perhaps if there is a home playoff game, we can get together again. If not, there's always the fair!!

What a night!! Since sweetdaisy didn't come, we sat in the shade... . I even talked my wife into coming with me to the ballgame, hoping she would get the chance to meet some of you. My wife and I had our usual hotdog and drink, and then I dove head first into a funnel cake.

There were all kinds of freebies tonight. We got free t-shirts, and free passes to RedHawks ball games, and we got a coupon for McDonalds. Plus, to top it all off, there was lots of bottled water collected this evening for those in New Orleans.

If you go to the fair I hope you have fun but won't be recovered enough from surgery to really do anything as of then but hope if ya do end up going to the fair that y'all have fun

gbyte, what's going on with you? You've said in a couple posts that you won't do anything for a while, now you're talking about surgery. What happened?

It's just surgery to fix a hiatal hernia (search for nissen fundoplication on internet) so since it deals with the stomach you basically have to be really careful of what you eat, drink and then for a few weeks limit lifting or anything that might be a bit strenuous to the area.

Was initially supposed to happen in May but got delayed due to the capitalistic nature of insurance companies and after getting my appeal through just finally got it set back up.

The good part is missing work for a week
