A ton of rain in Norman. Just a small amount of hail. Did get to dust out the old tornado shelter though.

Measurable rain expected for western/northwestern Oklahoma next week?
Sunday - Thursday is the most favorable pattern for a statewide soaking in many months.
EURO forecasted rainfall totals through Saturday
Finally!
Hooray for the rain!!!
We need to have an Arts Festival in August so we can be sure to get a solid week of rain.
I was hoping for an all day rain event today but it looks like it's about over.
New line forming with some heavy rain here.
1 1/4 inches in my rain gauge so far.
0.47" in my rain gauge thus far here on the southside, near Crossroads. Not as much as I was hoping for today but I know there's still more to come
Looking fairly likely to get about 1" of rain from an MCS tomorrow morning. That will be the main action. Otherwise, could have random elevated showers dropping another 0.5"-1.0" anytime over the next 36 hours or so.
Friday Evening is also starting to look more favorable for precipitation chances.
From the way things are lined up to the west, it looks like we are going to get a lot more than an inch of rain.
Bulk of rain for OKC is moving out, will still have some wrap-around showers swinging through this afternoon and early tomorrow.
Looks like a similar, but quicker system will move through late Friday. Looks like another good chance for majority of the state, with a slight favor to southern.
Really, really good to see a long-duration rain event like this across the state. Very reminiscent of 04/21/2018 which marked the beginning of the end of that severe drought as we transitioned into a wetter El Niño pattern. Hopefully this will turn out similarly.
That was a nice, steady soaking we received over the last couple of days.
Pretty much saved us from what had been a disastrous April.
