I can't help but remember reading "Senatorial Privilege".

Teddy was a total sleaze. I honestly believe he murdered Mary Jo
Kopechne because she knew something detrimental to his career.

This a little of a stretch for "Odd Humor", but it was in today's DOK and I thought it was funny. Of course it's out of context, the article is obviously talking a bout letter carriers bitten by dogs.

Two Arabs are sitting in a Gaza Strip bar chatting over a pint of
fermented goats milk. One pulls his wallet out and starts flipping
through pictures and they start reminiscing.

"This is my oldest son, he is a martyr."

"You must be so proud," says the other.

"This is my second son. He is a martyr also."

"A fine looking young man," replies his friend.

After a pause and a deep sigh, the second Arab says wistfully, "They
blow up so fast, don't they?"
