"Treated like sh!t" probably actually means "they didn't lick my crack".
This is what I heard from another board...
"He used the special celebrity entrance to get in the stadium and to his seat. People kept asking for his picture and his bodyguard started turning people away. At halftime the stat sheet is being passed around. The bodyguard mistakes the person bringing it by as a fan wanting a picture and tries to stop her. Thunder security steps in and it's a mess. After the game he is not allowed to use the same special celebrity entrance/exit and must walk out of the stadium with the regulars."
He's a no-talent hack that needs to just stay the hell away from OKC. The fact is, he's an entitled little dwarf that represents the OPPOSITE of everything we value here in Oklahoma...
Ah...that's where they were. I kept wondering why Dean Blevins and Bob Barry, Jr. kept getting to ask questions during the post-game interviews on ESPN, but we never heard a peep out of anyone from Ch. 5. I kept thinking, "WTH? This game was on ABC...where's the local ABC sports guys?"
The ironic thing is that another rapper, Bun B of UGK was here and supposedly has been here several times. UGK is from Port Arthur TX and personally know Kendrick Perkins, a native of Beaumont (those Golden Triangle boys tend to stick together lol). In his twitter feed, he is shown smiling with fans, hanging out at Mickey Mantles, enjoying himself and the city. So I seriously doubt the Thunder has some issue with rappers.

I remember seeing this at the game. The only people who did talk to him were good looking women, everyone else had to deal with the bodyguard. Other than that he just sat there. Headphones on. No cheering for either team. You just make yourself look like a fool. HE wants all the attention on him but when his fans want to interact with him he acts like a dick. Yes there are some crazies out there but the people wanting to talk/pictures with him were either sitting on the floor or right by him so it's not like they are slouches.
Did he bring his Auto-tune with him so people would know who he is?
That's Pat Riley isn't it. Oh that makes me want to watch Glory Road so I can watch his a$$ get beat again! ;-)
It sounds to me like he's trying to make OKC look like a bunch of racists! Especially with his last rant. I just don't see what he has against us. It's almost like he took the Charles Barkley "No place for black people" comment to the extreme. It just sickens me when people act like this. He's the racist.
Saw this and thought it was an interesting take.

Leno made some predictable cracks on the Tonight show tonight. He brought up the hot weather around the country and said the best way to beat the heat was to throw Kevin Durant at them. He think proceeded to make a remark about how bored Miami was spending 48 hours waiting in OKC mentioning how late it's getting at 8:30. Maybe we need to invite him to a game and give him some boots. LOL
Heat fans visiting OKC are looking forward to Applebee's and Chick-fil-A. LOL

So much for any thoughts that having a "small market" team in the finals hurts tv ratings.

I won't go so far as to say OKC is racist, sexist, homophobic etc. but I do believe overall, OKC is one of the more intolerant cites in terms of free expression. What I mean is that when KD disclosed he had a tatoo on his back this board spent I dare say days talking about a tatoo, the governors disrespect to the President of the United States. I think it is fairly obvious that OKC would not embrace "the bird" as a player like Denver does or any other player who in the opinion of some were not the clean cut choir boys we expect. OKC will not become a vibrant place until true diversity is, if not embraced, at least allowed for instead of demonized. The Lil Waynes of the world are not my personal cup or tea, but they are for some so I say each to his own and welcome, where others attack him and others who look, act, talk, walk, etc different that us. Grow up OKC, geez. One final thing, why does almost everyone on this forum fail to admit that in comparison to MAJOR cities and even some smaller, OKC is boring! There are simply not that many venues for URBAN, African Americans, let alone, Wealthy African Americans to meet, greet, be seen. Maybe one day by not today. Get Real
