My mother saw Willie Nelson at the Diamond and has a photo of him. Slicked back short hair, clean shaven, coat and tie............

I guess I was smokin' good stuff back then. I could no more make a neat clean list like thos above if my life depended on it. Did any of you guys make it to the Dallas festival in '69. THAT was the height of my concert experiences. INCREDIBLE.

No didn't make that one. I'am surprised that I can still make a list of those concerts after all the performance enhancing vitamins I consumed back then.

Those are the ones I can remember and a few I was unable to stay through the entire concert.

Do you remember the Turner Falls Festival they tried to have? There were tickets printed but I don't know if any groups were signed.

Gov. David Hall claimed he would call out the National Guard to stop any gathering.

After prison he moved to San Diego and went into the real estate business (I think it was real estate) Wonder if he was in one of those country club prisons?)

On February 13, 2007, Hall made his first appearance in the State of Oklahoma since he left office over thirty years before. He appeared at the Oklahoma History Center to help launch a new exhibit that features all of the Governors of the State of Oklahoma. Hall remarked that it was "like coming back to heaven." He is currently writing a book about his term as governor. It will also feature his views on his prison sentence as well as reflections on the 19 months he served in prison.

I saw Ry Cooder there and several I don't even remember. It was a terrific venue and the tribe who built and ran it were quite interesting. As far as I know only John Dunning (I think that's the right name) is still around. Does anyone know what happened to Gib Pelt?

The "Lady" was a cool place. I remember the Atherton boy's and their sister. Don't remember any of the rest of the tribe.

Yeah, Gary Mack used to play there a lot. And Jerry Fisher. Whatever happened to __?____ Denton, the owner? Wasn't his name KAY---that is how it was pronounced, anyway.

Hey USG 60, is the Jerry Fisher you mentioned the guy from Blood, Sweat, and Tears? He had ties to Oklahoma City. I went to school with his son in 6th grade at Western Oaks Elementary School in Bethany. He came by once and picked his son up on a motorcyle. Jerry ended up running a burger grill on the beach in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi that was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina.

    Bigray in Ok

Hey dude, yes it is the same Jerry Fisher. However, he didn't run a burger joint in Bay St. Louis, it was a pretty nice club on the beach and yes Katrina took it a way.....He said he and his family were taking the Insurance money and moving to Colorado....Haven't heard from him since.....

Does anyone remember when Johnny Cash got busted in OKC? If I remember right, it was for a D.U.I. and some drugs.
