Yeah - finally got to this one - too many *good* old threads...

Pre-cars it was houses under construction around the neighbor hood (74th & Penn) and where ever someone's usually older friend might be baby-sitting.

Once cars entered the picture - any old road south of 89th in the portland/may/penn/western area - drive-ins were ok once the windows got steamed over... then i started dating edmond-ites. Remember driving the "extension" - two laned at the time - passing (like an idiot) on the right side - gravel shoulder... Edmond had lotsa construction sites - remember one time my girlfriend looking up and there was the cop watching - he *didn't* want to scare us - he'd been watching us for who knows how long...

Well....there was the gal that worked (after hours) at the dentist office at 44th & S. May. She cleaned the office up each evening after closing time.

I worked around the corner at Jim's IGA. Those dentist chairs can be comfortable.....

I'm just sayin.....

Prunette and I were at Lake Holdhercloser and a park ranger told us to move

When I was a kid, I always heard about going to the "Submarine races" and going out to Lake "Hold her closer (Overholser)." Do/did such places actually exist? I confess to some smooching in the car but it was generally around the corner from my house back in the trees - and I always had an eye out for some ax murderer intent on hacking up young lovers.

And to go back to the original post, I have to agree with GM - as far as I go, pretty humdrum!

was the parking lot of the Skyline Restaurant and the football stadium off of
S.E. 15th and S. Eastern.
