HRRR showing storms firing between 8-10 pm tonight. I think these mostly stay north of the OKC metro closer to the KS border but there could be a couple isolated stronger storms that move further south and east.

It looks like the storms in north central Oklahoma are falling apart so that Stillwater may only get sprinkles at most. Elsewhere, a strong storm is to the north and northeast of Tulsa. It remains to be seen if Tulsa is in for it as things further develop.
Was really hoping for some rain tonight. This is going to be a long long long summer.
Can't believe people were complaining about the rains we got (but really, we needed more) in May and early June.
Since early June the blocking high pressure over Texas has shut off the rain across Oklahoma. We’ve been right on the edge with most activity staying in Kansas/Missouri. I drove through Wichita and Kansas City recently and they are both lush green, looks like early May there.
Enjoy the clouds this morning
Next chance of storms will be Thursday into Friday, possibly more widespread than yesterday.
GFS rainfall through Saturday
I give up on rain. We have not had any rain in weeks.
