Have you asked the Action Center about it?

Hah, at least those of us with road bikes, and of age, can walk around it!

Yeah, but if you email the OKC Trails people, whoever they are, or open a case with the Action Center, you might get more information?

It's frustrating because they JUST repaved so it was all smooth and they're always terrible about paving repairs so there will be this one terrible spot for a decade. Happens on streets all the time.

Also, the first week it was like this it was impassable. When I did it last week you could go around it at least on the west side of the repair.

Saw a similarly completed mile market on the south river trail yesterday, so not sure what the pattern is as far as where they're working.

it's been filled in for a minute, but I suspect they won't get to the pavement until the spring

Mile markers are also installed on the North River Trail from where the Bricktown Canal enters the river all the way west to the I-44 crossing.

They are working on the North River trail expansion. They started ground work east of I 35, up to Eastern av

Makes me wonder if they were waiting on the interchange to finish. Starting on this trail the immediate next day after the final striping is interesting timing.

Photo of construction progress on the trail on the north side of the Ok River.

The n/s street is Eastern/MLK just north of the First Americans Museum.

I ran the bit that goes from the Boathouse district to the point where it stops going east. A bridge is needed to connect the two sections. I am interested to see how this ties into the Katy Trail and the Eagle Lake Trail. Both of these trails are lovely but hard to get to from DT.

Thanks for the update, will be nice to connect all the parts. Now if the City could only fix some of the problems, the Katy trail hole, filled with dirt, but unpaved, with hard asphalt pinch points. On the west trail, the first bridge west of Meridian has sinking landings, more hard edges that could be fixed with some tar and asphalt. Further west, past Crystal lake another sinking landing on the bridge by the new drinking fountain.

I rode all the parts of the trail in this graphic that had concrete yesterday. In this marked up graphic, the parts with the Xs did not have concrete.

Here is a video of the ride. Didn't turn on my camera until where the green arrow is in the graphic.

On Monday I noticed the Will Rogers Trail main sign was up (wasn't on Friday).

    (it's been graffiti'd for months)

I find when I report these to the Action Center they usually get taken care of. Hope someone reports this. I just reported some other graffiti to the Action Center today (as well as some litter). I use the Action Center all the time and get good results--sometimes in just a day!

So the graffiti happened before the top part of the signage was added, within weeks of the bottom portion being built. I was hoping the city would see it when they installed the top part and then would take care of it, we'll see.
