Happy for this development, but it's still weird to me that this is going forward while a majority of the office buildings downtown are 30% vacant or more.

This has been in process since well before the pandemic.

It's already pre-leased and about 1/3rd won't be office space.

It's because most companies that want to make a statement, and have a sense of ownership want their own building. It's not about the money or vacancy rates, its about what the company wants.

AHMM (the architects that designed the project), Inasmuch Foundation, Cortado (venture capital), Ashton Gray (contractor), Prodigal (owns the Energy), and a few others.

There will be a hotel and club on floors 2-4; not sure exactly what the club will entail. They will also have a large restaurant space (operator TBD) on the ground floor.

I had forgotten this was an AHMM project, we're so fortunate to have them doing architectural work in OKC.

From what I have heard, the club will take quite a bit of inspiration from a similar concept in Dallas called Park House.

Really admire the work AHMM does and glad they have a presence here.

For those who didn't know, the local AHMM is currently located in another of their projects, the Plow building in Bricktown.

Their OKC practice continues to grow and they'll be taking a larger space in The Citizen.

Don't like that they had construction going on during the ceremony. They should of at least waited until the ceremony was over out of respect and observance. With it being so close to the Memorial.

The tower crane is now scheduled to go up on the 6th of May.

The assist crane is staged onsite and ready. Wind looks favorable for tomorrow. We should have a new tower crane in the air by the end of the day.

This 12-story building is going to stand out more than most people realize since there isn't anything remotely that tall within a few blocks.

Will be fun to watch this go up.

Someone should take advantage of that and build something to help Devon fit into the skyline more. Kidding, of course.

So for any who may not like to check in on the live feed, they are starting the work for the 3rd floor.
