Former Miss America, actually. We've found some cool new places to go and eat through the show, and we're pretty up-to-date and knowledgeable about what's going on, so we've been surprised that the show has given us a heads-up on some things we didn't know about.
Oh I see. The menu looks good and it certainly has some contemporary flair, but it's mostly meat and potatoes. I wouldn't classify it as "trendy" per se.
OTOH, I always enjoyed my visits to Freddie's in Sapulpa. Those were some good folks and that was some good food. And, I have a significant collection of Frankoma Pottery, so Sapulpa is a place I've always had a fondness for.
Sapulpa has a pretty cool downtown area if they continue redeveloping it.
The Christmas Chute helped get some eyes on their downtown. Though I tend to think one antique/re-use-it shop is enough for any town.

Someone needs to tell that to Guthrie.
nm, didn't see this already being discussed in another forum section

Don't read the comments...lol
We got beans there is r more to say I ain’t been driving.
But they're so cathartic (for me, at least).
Pretty decent video, will watch their other OK videos later, knew about all the things/places they went, but reminded us that we need to walk around Scissortail Park, haven't really done that in depth yet. The big thing I want to know is what time they went to Cafe Kacao, they're *never* that empty when we try to go, lol! I'm guessing a weekday afternoon about 2:00 is ideal, actually...

Mayor Holt is promoting this article (if we want to call it that) declaring OKC the 87th best food city in the world. It at least sounds semi-quantitative.

We moved from OKC to South Georgia last November. We're on the coast so obviously the seafood here is world class, but other than seafood, we are SERIOUSLY missing the food scene in OKC. Seriously. We always loved the food there but didn't truly realize how good it was until we left.
