Kinda like to listen to both Hank Sr. and Jr. do Kawliga...you know, the "Wooden Indian"....That was standing by the door ... that fell in love with an Indian maid over in the Antique Store.....He never got a kiss ....Poor old Kawliga....
Burl Ives was excellent in "The Big Country", too.
Are you thinking of The Long Hot Summer? Paul Newman with Joanne Woodward, set in Mississippi. I think the family patriarch in that one was Orson Welles though, not Burl Ives.
Oh! Back on topic! Hmmmm... how about The Ventures Live in Japan 1965? Just released a year or two ago. Those guys rocked live! Unfortunately, band founder and original lead guitarist, Bob Bogle, died last year.
