    Yes.

    New Saigon.

couldn't agree more soonerguru. The inner core areas just outside of downtown are dying for these types of development with Asian District as the most dire. ..

Hopefully we can see more traction on New Saigon soon that with it's success will spur a boom in the area. No reason it should still ONLY be strip retail with parking lots.
    Oklahoma City, the RENAISSANCE CITY!

I hope that with all this new infill development and density we can work to make this area more appealing for people to walk around. There are sop many services, grocery stores, and shops all within a very short jaunt, even just across the street, but unfortunately people wouldn't ever walk there. This could really be a nice, premiere neighborhood in the future.

There are sidewalks in the area and around these new structures. Just not in the neighborhoods surrounding them. There are sidewalks along Classen Curve up to 63rd, and along Grand from 63rd to Western and Western south (sort of). Sidewalks all through the Chesapeake campus area. But, most of the neighborhoods don't have sidewalks. We really need sidewalks from Penn to Western on 63rd. Almost impossible to ride or bike that stretch.

There has been ongoing sidewalk construction for months on both sides of 63rd from NW Expressway to May. Maybe that will continue Eastward?

Unfortunately, I don’t think there are plans to.

Does Nichols Hills want their residential neighborhoods to have sidewalks? I know of plenty of older people who insist they invite crime. I would also imagine they'd be hesitant to increase public transit in the area for the same reason

The trails through the park that runs from 63rd up to almost Penn is very, very busy on most days. NH has made it very inviting to walk, run and bike. They have also added sidewalks from the end of the park along Grand all the way west to the end of NH.

I've never heard any NH resident opine that sidewalks invite crime. People have a weird misconception of people living in NH and try to stereotype them.

By the way, The Canton, the Curve and this immediate area is not NH anyway.

5 floors of stick build…gives lots of fuel to the fire.
Wonder if the sprinkler system was yet to be turned on.
