I work for for one of the motor oil vendors that supplies Autozone. This is going to be a local hub store. These are local distribution warehouse stores for large metro areas. It should have the same retail footprint as a regular Autozone store.

Just saw plans were released for Dollar Tree to take approximately 12,000 square feet of the old Target next to Ace for a store. Here is a Key Plan for the area they will occupy.

    It keeps getting worse.

You prefer blight over active retail?

I don't see that as the only alternative.

So your objection is it being Dollar Tree then? Sorry, don't see Von Maur moving to that area.

Dollar Tree seems appropriate for this building.

I sure wish Target would build a store off I-44 close to the airport.

Dollar Tree. For when you just don't feel like getting all dressed up to go to Walmart.

There are plans for a trampoline park to take all the remaining space that had once been a Target. Autozone took a big chunk, as did Dollar Tree.

Glad to see this building pretty full but it's so sad to think just a few years ago there was both a Sears and Target at this intersection.

They need to build a super target near I44 and SW 104th.

I'm kind of puzzled why Target didn't build a new store out that way. The closest Target to the Southside now is in Moore.

I find it strange Target didn't select another location in south OKC. I used to shop Target weekly. After they closed the south OKC location, I didn't shop at the Moore location for years and even now i only shop there a few times a year. WInco thought they would pull residents from south OKC in greater numbers than they do, as well.

Agreed. I prefer Target over Walmart but there are too many lights and too much traffic between living by airport and Fritts Farm when there is a Walmart right here. Same with Costco....I can shoot up MacArthur to the west side Sams and not deal with Fritt Farms area
