Ever since having about 4 inches of rain and 30 minutes straight of hail, it has been like Pete mentioned, bone dry and cloudless.

It feels like late June outside at the moment right now lol. Not great!!!
I'm not sure we are going to do it. Go the whole month with no rain. 30th and 31st have chances
Ugh 91 again today. Hopefully the last day but Monday looks like the upper 80s.
We're just gonna miss shorts & T-shirt weather for Trick or Treating it looks like. I remember it was quite cold last year in contrast. I hope we are done with the 90's.. any chance of a later November hot front given the pattern?
Couple of large wildfires burning in Western OK at the moment.
GFS rainfall forecast through next weekend. Fingers crossed this verifies!
This wind f’ing sucks. My Halloween decorations are toast.
Slight risk of severe weather on Wednesday. Tornado parameters are actually looking fairly decent for almost-November - north-central Oklahoma would be the most likely area if one spins up.
Timing of the front might be everything tomorrow for the metro. Right Now nam has storms blowing up right over okc 6pm time frame. However fronts always seem to come in faster in the fall than in the spring. Either way best area right now is along I-44 from OKC to Tulsa.
Windy.com has the front arriving in OKC at 9PM on Wednesday..
and the first HRRR run is in and blows storms up just east of OKC. West metro might get no rain. Nam st same just east of OKC but does show a storm just west of OKC. Drought leads too more drought. Might see a tornado or two in that state on Wednesday though. Front tends to undercut storms but need to watch closely. Will it be a dry line or dry line cold front?
Wednesday is going to be a very close call in terms of precip chances (and the accompanying severe weather threat) but either way, I'm pretty optimistic about our chances for notable drought relief across much of the state this weekend into early next week. And as an added bonus, the severe weather threat with that system looks very low, though there certainly could be a flood risk especially given how dry our soils are at the moment.
HUM Maybe I should go check on my storm shelter for tomorrow? Possible interesting day tomorrow. Outbreak no far from it. A tornado or two possible. YES POSSIBLE. The front probably lines things out quickly though but there is a small window
Convective showers will form out ahead of the front which could limit severe potential in the OKC metro. North-central OK into Kansas has the best chance of seeing severe storms and a few tornadoes before the storms develop into a line and move east.
Some areas across the state may see more rain next week than they have all summer/fall.
It would not shock me if the Metro got no rain tomorrow. It's going to be that close
So the hyped rain chances on here got jinxed again. Why won't people learn?
Now it wouldn't surprise me if OKC gets jipped the whole week.
