More Tower of Sauron likeness!
Great shot! And boy did that front cool things off, yowzers.
The top of FNC looks like a hypodermic needle in that pic.
Is there a link to this cam?
Went to an event on the 50th Floor last night. Building is spectacular - views even better. It's a bit strange being that high in a place this flat. I've been in a lot of tall buildings, but the feeling up there is something different. Stuck my head in Vast to make a reservation before coming down - it looks great. here's one picture looking west.
That beam you see is the bottom half of one of the triangles.

Taken yesterday evening:
Steve's new book with Jack Money coming out. It looks like it should be just as interesting as their past books and provide much new insight into this project.

I'll be at the book signing if anyone is interested in coming.
I've seen an advanced copy of Steve's book and it's very, very interesting.
Steve got involved with this development from the outset and followed everything, even all the various alternative sites that were strongly considered. Everyone will be very surprised by the four or so sites that were almost chosen instead.
Lots and lots of photos and graphics... I wish I could go tonight so I can get a copy right away.
Congrats to Steve & Jack. I think most have no idea of the monumental amount of work that goes into something like this.
I took this from inside the connection between Devon and the Colcord.
Really a nice little spot:
I wonder if the next tower thread will eclipse this one...
Nope, Wednesday afternoon but this sitting area is directly adjacent to the Colcord meeting rooms and I don't think too many people know about it.
The whole wing just officially opened, as it ties directly into the entrance for Vast.
I hope the area sees more people because it looks like a scene from "Life after People" on the History Channel.
Devon looks awesome coming out of the game last night......hopefully they'll have some good night footage on the national games.
Some retro photos from 1972...

Everything in this photo is gone except for the recently constructed Sandridge Tower in the upper right.
