Today marks the first time in a little less than four years, where the Oklahoma City Thunder have gone ten games over .500. The last time this has occurred is January 31st of 2020 against the Phoenix Suns, the year the pandemic hit.

If you’re being serious, it took KD joining one of the best teams in NBA history for any of them to have a championship. Not that KD and Russ wouldn’t have won one together if he had stayed but their inability to win championships together before they were old enough to rent a car without hassle has nothing to do with the team being built today.
The Pistons beating so many in attendance is wild
Detriot Pistons break NBA record with 27th staight loss this year. Longest losing streak ever in one season. They are in the running to break the record of 28 that occured over 2 seasons that is held by Philly.
Cuban gave Mavs employees 35 mil bonuses after selling the team.

Oklahoma City Thunder - #24. $3.05 billion
Once the new arena is constructed and opened, the value of Oklahoma's NBA team will skyrocket.
Not necessarily. Value of the arena and value of the team are two different things. Team value is based on future income. Value increases come with bigger broadcast revenue, corporate sponsorship, naming rights, suites sales, etc. since there won’t necessarily be more live attendance the revenue will have to come from elsewhere.

Nov 22, 2023 — Here is what the league says. Since the end of the lockout, it has mandated each team to have at least 500 tickets for sale at $10 per seat.
Not sure if the minimum mandate will change or not ?
The lockout ended in December of 2011, so it was several years back.

OKC Thunder Head Coach Mark Daigneault a Candidate to Coach Western Conference All-Star Team: https://www.si.com/nba/thunder/news/...-all-star-team
On Friday, February 2, Daigneault's team will take on the Charlotte Hornets and on February 4, Oklahoma City meets the Raptors. If OKC manages to stay in first place after this stretch, Daigneault will coach the All-Star Game for the first time in his career.
The Western Conference team everyone should be watching but very few seem to be talking about are the LA Clippers - aka Thunder West. If their core four stay healthy, they will be a tough out for anyone come playoff time.
I hear plenty of buzz on the Clippers. After a shaky start following the Harden trade. They have been playing arguably the best ball in the league. And their championship window is closing quickly. I think they have the oldest roster in the league. They, like the Nuggets, rarely lose at home. This is why seeding becomes so important. If it's going to come down to a game 7, you want that in your building.
