World Largest Carousel near downtown?

The article NEVER stated that they intend to make the carousel a MAPS project. I don't know where that came from.

I agree jbrown, some people twisted the original story and somehow tied it in with MAPS, it was proposed and still is being considered as a PRIVATE PROJECT.

Don't forget, Paris also has a large Ferris Wheel it's famous for too.
