O.K., so is it Friday that we are going to the brick?

Actually, the date I suggested was August 19. That was the date that the RedHawks have an evening game, followed by fireworks. I've only heard from a few people, however, I would like to see at least 10 of you singles there. If possible, I'll try to be there (although I'm married), and who knows....I may be able to get Patrick to come also. Hey, mariner, we can get your picture out of the photo gallery, blow it up to poster size, and have osupa05 carry it to the ball game. It would almost be like you were there with us.

As a matter of fact, if you are interested, please either PM me or e-mail me at keith@okctalk.net. We can go ahead and plan it and see if enough people want to do it.

Apparently, I'm quite confused about days and dates. I thought we were going to the ballpark on Saturday, which is the 20th. (I indicated I was going to the Music Festival on the 19th, but meant the 20th. oops. I work on Fridays.)

Personally I say bring the kids or guests. I'm hoping a friend of mine who has been extremly busy lately can join us too. I'ts taken so much to get this together I don't see any reason to tell someone they can't go especially because of their child/ren.

The night I originally suggested was Friday night, August 19. That's the night of the ballgame and the fireworks afterwards, however, you guys can pick either night (Friday or Saturday). I can probably make it Friday evening, but Saturday evening I have to work 4 PM-midnight. But.........it's not about me, it's about all of you singles getting together .

So, if Saturday works for the majority, then that's the night it should be. The game that night will begin at 6 PM. The RedHawks will be playing the Nashville Sounds.

So, who all will plan on being there?

I see another 6 week period coming if we reopen the floor again. I say we do the baseball thing to get the ice broken, then I'm sure more ideas will come from it.

The Redhawks play AT Nashville this weekend. This Friday, August 19th is the last night for this homestand. I just confirmed this on www.oklahomaredhawks.com

Thing is the way this ballgame has taken so long to finalize we might want to start a roll call on a fall get together...or would it be better to wait tilll after the first breakn' the ice meeting??

hehe, well I can work on the picture, but I dont know about the lifesize cutout, I think they were using it for target practice in Iraq or something. I hope you all do get together and get out though, I really would join you all if I could.
