There is 8,000+ square feet on the ground floor so there will be more than just Kitchen no. 324 and the barber shop.
Have they released plans any other tennants? The restauraunt will take 3,000 sq. ft, and a barber shop is what, 1,500? That leaves about half the floor.
The barber shop will be 792 sf and Kitchen no. 324 5,141 sf.
Given the size of the lobby shown in the plan below, maybe between the two that will be all the leasable space on the ground floor:
From what I'm seeing on the plan above it looks like patrons will have to enter through the lobby to go to either the restaurant or the barber shop. Being able to walk in right off the sidewalk would be the most ideal and aesthetically pleasing situation for the streetscape.
That plan does not include the two retail tenants so it may have changed.
Also, there is a north entrance that looks like it will lead directly into the restaurant.
The barber shop which will be moving in is the one currently located in the old barber shop in the middle floors of 1st National.
There will be an entrance to Kitchen no.324 from the north and from the east.
But the historic entrance will have a working public entry, right?
Hold on a second, are we not going to be able to access these businesses directly from the sidewalk?
On the north side apparently you will be able to get to Kitchen no.324 off of Dean McGee from the sidewalk, but not from Robinson. As for the Barber, I guess it will just be the Main building entrance on Robinson, and then perhaps from the east side coming from Sandridge Tower.
If you can't go directly from the sidewalk into the store the customer base is going to primarily be people who work in the building from 8 to 5. They will be viewed as building services and not downtown services. When someone finally does open the doors to the sidewalk all these businesses that are only accessible off of an interior lobby are going to be in a world of financial hurt.
I can tell you Flint next door is doing great at 6:30 p.m.
