I have them pretty much the same as last year 40-42. They played so many games last year without the teams best player something around 36 games and over 70 games with the other team not having one of their starters. I think teams too OKC too lightly last year and sat players while playing them not realizing how good they were.
Watching the NBA ring ceremony on TNT celebrating the Denver Nuggets and can't help noticing the Thundex rewarded was....Reggie Jackson...
Also, the ring is getting so large I think it will fully cover 2 fingers within the next 2 years.
I wish it wasn't true but they did play a lot of games without the other teams best player or other team second best player and it was buy a lot too. As a season ticket holder I hope they make a jump but I still think that is 2 years away. I see teams taking them way more seriously this year than last year. Yes NBA teams do that. Oh this will be an easy win than SGA went off and they won the game. I'll see if I can find the stat somewhere
No luck it was on the sports animal anyway I did find this https://www.si.com/nba/thunder/news/...-opening-night 48-34 that would be great but I think it will be around 40-42 wins
Thunder beat writer Joe Mussatto predicts a 42-40 record in a front page column this morning.
Thunder will finish with 44 wins and 38 losses.
I am going to go with 50-32. I would take the over on season wins. There were multiple injuries last year and we still won 40 games. OKC lost 27 games by single digits last year. 27... It's hard to believe that having everyone healthy and the #2 pick two years ago wouldn't equate to 10 more wins...
ESPN Forecast: 45-37 Bleacher Report 40-42 Usa today 43-39
Vegas set the O/U at 44.5 for OKC regular season wins.
We do think Their record will be after first 18 games. 4 in Oct and 14 in Nov. The have the Warriors 3 times, Cavs twice who might be 3rd best team in the West. @Bulls, @Cavs, Nuggets, Pistons, Pelicans, Warriors, Hawks, Cavs, @Kings, @Suns, Spurs, @Warriors, @Warriors, @Trailblazers, Bulls, Sixers, @Mavericks, Lakers. I'll go 9-9. They play some good teams
Its an 82-0 season I feel it.
Oklahoma City Thunder 124 @ Chicago Bulls 104

Attendance: 21,369
Shai looked good as always but was surprised by Cason Wallace. Going to be a good defender and 3-pt threat. He will be getting some minutes for sure.
Especially with how loaded the west is. Nuggets, Suns, Clippers, Lakers, Warriors, Pelicans, Kings. All really really really good IF IF!!!!!!! they stay healthy. Thunder are in the mix somewhere. Maybe Mavericks and Timberwolves also.
I'm excited for 2 years from now myself. 2025-26 season. By than I think you will have some teams drop off in the west cause of age. Lakers, Clippers, Suns, Warriors are not the youngest teams in the league. I sure they will trade and what not but I do see other teams dropping off and the Thunder rising.
Well, it was the first game of the season. But IIRC how many opening games in the last five years have we won. Usually we've opening up against the Utah Jazz in SLC.
Anxious to see how we perform at Cleveland Cavs in the 2nd away game on the road.
