your correct, i was saying from the "then and now" pic posted up top, before the 90's there was a good solid 15 years of construction and development. So im saying since then there's really been nothing besides the Arena
I thought there were going to be trees planted on the roof over the north entrance.
Not sure it will be trees... Probably just some other low-growth plant.
Ate lunch there today. Nebu was fantastic. Prices are very reasonable, even cheap for downtown. Food was excellent. We've needed a place like this downtown for a long time.
What are the hours of Nebu?
Nebu hours (only weekdays):
Breakfast - 6:30 to 9:30AM
Lunch - 11:15 to 1:30PM
Isn't Nebu a planet from Star Wars?
Northeast Blanco Unit devons first large drilling project
Thanks so much!
Looks like they are really hustling to get the south entrance and park/courtyard completed and that will really add a whole new dimension to downtown.
Nebu looks like a very impressive operation and a perfect fit.
Ya, you can't see very well from shots, but the front garden area is still very much a work in progress. My original plan was to walk to see the front, but from I couldn't get there coming from First national without having to walk the long way around. You can tell they still have a few more weeks of work to do on the garden. The front main entrance into the rotunda with the water feature is not yet done, and there is essentially open dirt in front of the garden wing. The west entrance/exit from the Garden Wing is not yet open either. I was very surprised by all the people there - there were employees, non-employees, families, toddlers, etc. Nice to have this large gathering place open to the public. There is tons of room and it didn't feel crowded at all. I walked through around 1:10pm and Nebu still had quite a few partrons.
When will they complete the remaining floors?
I believe the last thing to be finished will be the restaurant and banquet facilities on the 49th/50th floors and they said that will be open sometime in September.
Yeah Banquet space on 50th floor opens in Sept., Vast on 49th opens in October.
I'm guessing they are pushing to have landscaping in front plus garden wing (and Sheridan, Hudson completions) done in time for Festival of the Arts.
KOCO has Devon Tower in its weather graphics. NIIIICE!
The reflection of the sun in the indentions (on the crown) looks sweet from crossroads
