Ill add a bit more. First, if you want to wear a mask then wear it and those that dont, dont Just dont harass those who have to or chose to wear one. Second if you are sick with covid, the flu or anything else that could be contagious, stay home. You might give a cold to someone who is healthy but will not be able to visit their sick family member that is in the hospital or under going serious medical procedures or maybe caring for a critically ill family member. Its called manners.

Well said. I’m sorry you have to live as you described and I’m talking about your mindset when I say this, but the world would be considerably better if more folks were like you.

I saw a few masks in Target the other day.

I don't really visit the big box stores like target, so that is probably were the disconnect is located. I am glad the masks make people feel safe. I am curious now, for the people who see masks at their stores, are any of the people doing the double mask set up yet?

I haven't seen it. Probably 90% of what I see are surgical masks.

Not to get everyone fired up again but hasn't it been proven that it really needs to be a surgical mask or and N95 for it to be pretty effective.

Edit: Nevermind found it. Cloth is ok but it has to fit really well, worn at all times, and once you take it off to eat it's pointless at that point.

Absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why does it matter to anyone if someone else masks, vaccinates or whatever. Do we not have enough else to worry about? Live your life and leave everyone alone to live theirs.

This political garbage has to stop. What I am saying is those folks who dont believe in masks attacking people who do wear them. I was in a store yesterday, it was a sort of narrow isle. I large man, guessing about 6 ' 8 " decided he could just walk into me and knock me down. I had stacked merchandise on the side so no place to go. I have bad knees so cannot just run or easily dodge him. I stopped thinking he would just walk around me. Nope he just kept walking into me and knocked me down. I fell on part of a pallet I think. Great now I am down with my back. Nice to know the store did nothing other then to offer to grab my arm and pull me up and talk my items to the front registar. PD refused to do anything since they dont have any video. Guy said he was just trying to go around me. Yah right into me. How is it right to knock down an older lady much smaller with bad knees and trouble walking????? I guess now he feels I like a real man.

I’m actually triple vaxxed myself, but the government should probably stay out of the business of telling people what shots they do or don’t need.

As far as rights, your choice to vacs for anything within limits. Limits being if you work with high risk people in a health care setting. A doctor's office has the right to require masks to be worn. If an office decides that dont then that is fine. During the time when most if not all required masks, I saw a specialist who not only did not require them but did not want to see me because I wore one. That is a bit over board. Stores should have the right to require them if they chose or chose not to require them. As far as vac for anything except for a small number of jobs then it should be the person's choice. Again if staff is working with say cancer patients with limited immunity to anything then no, if the staff doesnt then let them transfer to another dept or clinic. Just dont judge and be the jury and decree punishment for folks who have a good reason to wear a mask and or vac. There can be some middle ground.

I was a mask wearer from the start of the pandemic up until I got Covid in June of 22. I am quad vaxxed because I have heart issues. I worked with the public and dealt with the "infringement on my rights" political people more than I care to imagine- nothing ever gets solved and no one ever changes their mind. I was once an avid politics follower but have since suffered from extreme burnout to the point that I don't care. As people have stated before me- when you don't care about doing the nice respectful thing then we have lost our way as humans. If I say I could die if I get covid and you say you don't care, then why should I even listen after that. I'm not religious but what about the "Golden Rule" and love and compassion, where are those things and how do they fit into this? You don't want to believe it was real or where a mask- fine that is your right, but treat people that do like garbage, then f you.

Here is the thing, I am not antivac, I am fine with the idea of if you dont want to be vacced for covid, the flu or tetnis that is your choice. I cannot for legit medical reasons per my doctors who are not anti vac. I dont have the choice. I dont have the luxury of well covid might not be as bad as they say. I have the choice to try to protect myself. As I say myself. I am not making decisions for someone else. That is for them to do. How hard is it not to go out of your way to intentionally
hurt someone esp an older lady???
