I'd guess they either would stay with the existing brand or revert to 89ers, which would be a big hit with a lot of people. I do hope they sell Dodger Dogs in the stadium though. Mmmmmmm...Dodger Dogs...

So if Peter Guber, or the Dodgers THEMSELVES, but the Redhawks what makes everyone so sure they will stay here? Why exactly is this news so damned god?
Before the Dodgers take over, we still have this season to finish.
The RedHawks have a 1.5 game lead in the division as they head into the final series of the season, must win the division to get in. Go RedHawks!
...still thinking about Dodger Dogs...mmmmmmmmmm...
So after reading this I googled Dodger Dog, and it says they are already served at the RedHawks.

My theory on re-branding, revert to the 89er nickname, then go with the Dodgers color scheme and lettering styling.
Wouldn't be that much of a stretch from the original 89er colors...
Bingo.
press conference today at the ballpark to announce the dodger affiliation.
also, tulsa will become the dodgers' double-a affiliate starting next season.

Dodgers move triple-A to Oklahoma City, double-A to Tulsa - LA TimesIt’s apparently undetermined whether the triple-A team will continue to be known as the Redhawks, but red and the Dodgers would not appear to have a future together.
Interestingly, the Albuquerque Isotopes (the current AAA farm club for the Dodgers) has read as one of it's main colors.

It sounds like they are staying the RedHawks
Its Confirmed Redhawks is no more.Im a dodgers fan and i am hearing that the new name will be OKC Dodgers can't confirmed we will learn the official nickname tomorrow
The Dodgers just tweeted out that the name is OKC Dodgers. Super duper lame.
I love it, but I'm also not from Oklahoma and really have no rich history here. I think it will be good though because the Dodgers are an easily recognizable brand and it may bring the quality of baseball played here up, maybe even put butts in seats.
I can understand why some people don't like the change, it seems the large majority is embracing it.
I guarantee you they'll sell way more merchandise than the Redhawks ever did. I don't recall ever seeing anyone wear the Redhawks gaer.
