I caught some of the acts at Live 8 (via MTV and VH1) and there were some great performances.

Wish it was easy to choose just five favorites. Unfortunately my current attitude/mood often determines what I like to listen to most but there are some that I can almost always listen to...let me see if I can actually recollect them (I am terrible at making lists as I ALWAYS miss some):

    Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight
    Incubus - Drive (acoustic)
    Gov't Mule - Soulshine
Louis Armstrong - What a Wonderful World

Funny, it seemed so natural that Tom Jones would have been the original artist.

oh great, Thanks a lot Floater.... I can't stop singing - it's in my head!!

"Well I never been to Heaven
    But I been to Oklahoma
Well they tell me I was born there
    But I really don't remember
    In Oklahoma, not Arizona
What does it matter, what does it matter"

That truly is a great song.
    " You've Been Thunder Struck ! "

You bet, Karried, Ever since I downloaded it a couple of days ago, my speakers have rarely played anything else!!

Oklahoma native Hoyt Axton wrote the song. Yeah, it is a keeper.

"Well I never took the time to realize
How much I needed love in order to survive
I was so spoiled... a princess in my time
And your love was so deep
    And mine... so blind"

    Hmm. Name the singer.
