I've got it bookmarked. He's done two podcasts so far. Not bad at all.

Has anyone heard anything about a possible jersey sponsor or manufacturer?
Curious if a Chesapeake logo gets slapped on the front of these.

I wouldn't put any money on CHK right now... My bet would be AEP or Continental, if we go with a local energy-related company.

Is there a place in town that sells Energy merchandise (t-shirts, hats, etc.)? We went to Academy in Edmond, and the first employee we asked didn't even know the Energy existed. The second employee (who was their "apparel specialist") confirmed that they don't carry anything Energy related.

They were selling merch in the winter shops (got me a cool shirt), but not sure where that capability went. I griped at them for not having a permanent store front and suggested they AT LEAST have somewhere fans can walk in and buy stuff at the Prodigal corporate office at 6th/Hudson, but doubt that happened.

I bet if you tweet them they'll give you some tips on where to shop...

Last I heard, they were working on setting up a "brick and mortar" location but I havent heard of any openings yet. Online is still an option. They also had a booth at the friendly in Norman on.Saturday. I suspect they will do the same for.the friendly at Edmond Soccer Club on Friday night.

A 'soccer friendly' (scrimmage, warm-up, exhibition etc.,) doesn't take on the same flavor as a baseball or basketball exhibition especially in near freezing temperatures. "Oklahoma City Energy FC won its first game in franchise history with a 1-0 preseason defeat of Nebraska-Omaha on Saturday night at Norman North High School."

Glad the Oklahoma City Energy were able to bring down their first of three against a collegiate opponent.

    Nielsen reacts:

“In parts of the game I was not too happy with the game,” Nielsen said. “We talked about before the game we had to keep the ball and we did OK with that, but it has to be more pass and move, pass and move. But, overall it was good.”
