They announced some more stores that will be opening here. Polo, Disney, Le Creuset, BCBG, Michael Kors, Jos A Banks along with some others. Search for their Facebook page for full list. It's really an impressive lineup for what's going to be the biggest retail addition okc has seen in decades.

I am really getting excited about them opening. The list of stores keeps getting better! Smashburger menu looks insane!

Smashburger isn't very good IMO, Five Guys is much better, as would In and Out.

I haven't been to 5 Guys. I have been to In and Out. They are good, but they don't have Sweet Potato Fries. The menu is more diverse and looks like a bunch of stuff that I would like, so I don't just have to get a burger when I am doing my mall walking.

See others beat me to it but here is the Oklahoman's story...
A Disney Store Outlet is among 14 new tenants announced Thursday by Horizon Group Properties as it prepares for an August opening for the Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City.

The 65-acre center is set to open Aug. 5 with other newly announced tenants including
    BCBGMAXAZRIA,
    Bella Pizza,
    City Bites,
    Clarks/Bostonian,
    DKNY,
    Jos. A. Bank,
    Justice,
    Le Creuset,
    Michael Kors,
    Perry Ellis,
    Polo Ralph Lauren,
    Soma and
    Yankee Candle.

Other previously announced designer outlet stores include Nike, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Brooks Brothers, Guess, Coach, Chico's, Banana Republic, Gap, Tommy Hilfiger, Under Armour, Levi's and Carters.

Also it looks like the tent structures are still in the design, it mentioned covered walkways towards the end of the article.

Wow - they actually got a Polo Ralph Lauren and Kors? It appears their expecting that place to be a hit. That's a pretty impressive lineup.

Jos A.Bank here in the DC area is a very upscale Mens clothier. I have purchased numerous items from them, very nice.

Have they mentioned anything about it being fully leased? It sounds like these stores may have filled it up or close to it.

So is the Jos. A. Banks going to be an outlet store, or just another one of their regular stores, like we already have?

I wonder if they are going to plan an expansion since the mall is now full and still 2 1/2 months from opening!!

I wouldn't call Jos A Bank upscale, it's the gap of dress clothes, and OKC already has JOsABank

Totally agree. My brother in law used to always tell my husband he needed to shop there. When hubby checked it out, he was not impressed. He and our sons have made a bought things there over the years, but have not been impressed with their quality at all. Seemed way overpriced for what you got.

Also, every weekend you hear some obnoxious deal on TV on repeat... I think last week it was "one weekend only, buy one suit, get two free! only at joseph a. bank." Well, the previous weekend it was "One weekend only! buy one suit at regular price, get 4 shirts, and 4 ties, for FREE."

I agree that Jos Banks does too many promotions and sales however I disagree with the quality. I've bought several things from there and I see no difference in their dresswear than any other brand. I find their clothes to be a great value and hardly overpriced. A year or so ago I found a khaki suit for $100 there. I do wish they could hip things up a bit.

I would disagree, I have been to Smashburger in Denver many times and it far exceeds what I have had at Five Guys here in Austin in my opinion. I've never had In-N-Out, the one that I had seen in Sacramento I never found again.

Like most food, it is all opinion and varies accordingly.

Exactly. There's not a right or wrong way of recipes that are successful (like they both are) it just comes down to what the individual likes. It amazes me how so many here get so touchy about things like what pizza is better or whatever. People just like different things. It would be pretty boring otherwise. Hey, I'm going to be in Austin for a week in July - would you be up for a beer/coffee?

The only common outlet store that I want now is Adidas. It seems like with the level of retail quality they have on board Adidas wouldn't be averse to joining if this center can afford them the square footage.

You'd think we'd get an Adidas store after they are official apparel of the Thunder.

I think if this outlet mall is successful, then maybe they need to build an anchor for Nordstrom Rack and perhaps Armani X and Kenneth Cole.

Are there even contingency plans to expand the outlet center if it becomes feasible in the future? Don't really see any room for east or west expansion.

  25. Default Re: Oklahoma Factory Shoppes - I40 & Council

I don't think there is an expansion in the plans, but it's always possible that another outlet mall could set up shop across Council, similar to the San Marcos outlet setup. There's more room across I-40, also. I do think Kathy O'Conner and other people behind the deal on the city side expect to see a good amount of spin-off development here, since this outlet mall is a strategic investment for OKC to reverse the sales tax leakage to other cities, and they have plans for leveraging this into other things.

Part of the deal was contingent on the developers putting in for OKC retail marketing, similar to the marketing for Wichita when you're driving through Kansas.

Next weekend I hear they'll throw in a toaster, for FREE.
