I put peanuts in the Dr. Pepper........

When I quit drinking liquor, I found I really didn't like Coke!

That really amazes me papaOU...that Jerru Rubin came out to Oklahoma. The Norman area?

What amazes me even more is that you would waste good peanuts in a Dr. Pepper! Unconcionable!! LOL!!!

Not much better'n peanuts in a Dr. Pepper. Best Cokes ever were those little 10 oz. scudders, make your eyes water, nose run, and ears itch all at the same time. Pizza Planet's Spagili wasn't too bad either.

I used to drink the beegeebers out of those lil 8 oz cokes (the real thang) back in 1962 while listening to the Giants and Yankees in the 1962 World Series on my 9v transistor radio. Good Times! Well, that was until the last inning of the last game. Dang Yankees!

You can still get the REAL Coca-Cola in bottles and with sugar(instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup) at the Mexican grocery stores. People say it's just another sugar but it's NOT! When you uncap a frosty one and take that first big swig, you'll remember what Coke used to taste like. I haven't seen them in the little bottles yet, but I'ma looking!

I've had more than my share of RC cola out of those old timey bottle coolers and enough moonpies to feed an army. My actual favorites to chase with a pop were Cherry Mash's and Reeses Cups. I've even been known to put peanuts in the bottle too, no matter what kind of cola I was drinking at the time so I think I'm in good company here.

LOL!!!!! You are indeed in good company! My apologies for making such an assumption. I have to admit, something about your user name makes me think of the president of Iran. I didn't think you wre an Okie. My Bad!

I am still looking at your handle and wondering if it's all about Ham and Jam or your name is Hammon and you like d jam (music).

Ya gotta forgive me...I am so much older than I was when Truman was president.

Oh my gosh...I hate to say it, but ya gonna have to dumb it down a bit more for me. Allman Brothers Band I know. B-1 and B-2 I know (is B-3 a new secret bomber). As for Leslie...hmmmmm, I do know some Leslies (not in the biblical sense).

With the Leslie mic'd to an old tube type amp with about 50,000 watts and kicked on at high speed and all the stops pulled out on the organ's top and bottom register, it COULD be a weapon!

This guy could start an all out assault with HIS B-3! One of my inspirations.

    Thanks!!!
