These two buildings were just added to the national historic register.
Located at 1–13 NE 6th Street in Oklahoma City is the Pioneer Telephone Company Warehouse and Garage. The property is significant for its association with developments in communication between 1909 and 1917. The construction of the buildings corresponds to the expansion of telephone technology in the state of Oklahoma as well as the consolidation of telephone exchanges into a centralized location.
Loving all these pics over the holiday break Pete. A million thanks! You'll have to take your drone out to Will Rogers once all the new work really gets going....
Yes, Pete's doing God's work.
They are moving quickly on this project.
Off subject, but I wish every skyline view looked like the one from the Miller and Johnson thread. This building is - what- six or eight blocks east and you might as well be looking at a different city.
The gap in the skyline between the Chase (now BancFirst) Tower and the Devon Building is MASSIVE from that drone shot. Hopefully that can be changed sometime soon! Preferably with a residential tower or 2.
This is really a cool area! These projects are of exceptional quality and I'm hopeful they'll turn the hotel project into a good development with some tweaks. These smaller projects seem to be able to transform the area how 21c have changed Film Row.
I wish there was an easier/more aesthetic way to walk from Deep Deuce into eastern MidTown. Right now it is either an awkward walk north on Oklahoma Ave or an out-of-the way walk along EKG/Broadway. Alternatively for maximum time saving you can go to 4th, cut through the YMCA property, the parking garage, and make use of the busted up alley east of Broadway.
Some type of pedestrian path aligned next to the rail viaduct seems like it would be really cool, but I don't even know if there is easement through there - it looks like private properties extend directly to the viaduct wall.
This project is awesome.
What a transformation! Now if the city will complete a streetscape...
It will be cool to have drinks in this area and seeing passenger trains running N and S to Newton.
That view gives me a mini nyc highline vibe
Parlor OKC announces food court tenants list..

I've had Providence Pizza and Mother Clucker at Parlor KC. Providence's Detroit style pizza is a solid get. Mother Clucker weak sauce still has a kick to it. Excited to see this place come to fruition!
Baked in a square pan. Cheese, topping, sauce on top. Crust is usually twice baked
Sure feels like there are a lot of these multi-restaurant/incubator concepts springing up. It reminds of food truck courts from a few years ago. I wonder if the market can support three of these in such a small area? Is the first to open going to be the winner, or will location trump everything?
