I haven't eaten at Fat Elvis' but did when it was Sid's. Has it changed
very much? Sid's was pretty darn good.

Ron's is very good! And specifically the chili cheese burger. It
reminds me of the burgers at the bowling alley's in the 60's. Okay,
I have low expectations. But, and it's a big but, those little old
ladies at Penn 44, who were well into their 40's and possibly their 50's,
could make a burger and fries that would bring tears to your eyes.
I believe they had 50 deep fryers so each fry could be cooked to
    perfection.

I need to get out more.

The all time best bowling alley burgers were at Capitol Bowl on 29th street. Civic Center Lanes were pretty good too.

Sounds incredible! I'm a fool for Pastrami. Is it served on a rye bun?

Did you check out the Cheese Burger Society?

By the way, it's Knackwurst and it's not served door to door by
    the worst salesman.

Has anybody tried the burgers at Charleston's? They are mighty
tasty. Chili's has some good ones, too. So much for chains.

    I like Tim's at N.W. 50th and N. MacArthur. Just plain good. I like
the Caesar Burger at Johnnie's but it doesn't hold a candle to the
one Dolores made at The Patio. The Patio burger was fried while
Johnnie's is grilled. How it's cooked makes a world of difference. Not
saying that grilled burgers are bad. Just an observation about the
    Caesar burger.

Has anyone tried Flat Tire Burgers in Bethany, OK?
Yes, Flat Tire Burgers in Bethany is good. They serve home made potato chips. I like the other places you mentioned. I like Tim's Drive In's footlong coneys also. Fat Elvus Diner has the same food and the same owner it had when it was Sid's. The place is kind of a dump on the inside. It needs new booths and a new floor. If you like Bunny's, Abraham's, or the El Reno places, you should like Fat Elvus's food.

A visit to Tuckers, Nics or anywhere that serves a Theta burger is always requested when they are here.

Tucker's topped the list when OKC was recently named the best place in the U.S. to get a burger.
