Not sure which okc_bel_air is speaking of, but I went past the Dick's on Penn and there was a concrete slab in where I assume is the parking lot of Dick's.

Chickfila is already across street. I hope it's a Whataburger! Also Ive noticed that this looks to have two main big doors... Is there going to be a small retail space on the south end of this building as well?

Not to mention the Chick-Fil-A across the parking lot is a brand new location.

No, they were talking about N. Penn, hence their precious reference to N. Penn and Chick FilA. There is no ChickFilA at Reno.

Obviously there is some confusion... There is a Chick-fil-A U/C between Panera Bread and the old Ryan's on SW 3rd and the Dick's is just south of Reno -- or north of SW 3rd -- but I wasn't very clear, I should have used SW 3rd instead of Reno as the point of location. Flatlander is correct, but he is talking about the SW 3rd location, I believe, whereas everyone else is talking about the N. Penn location. I didn't specifically say that, but I figured everyone could interpret what I meant. My bad for posting such a vague comment.

If Flatlander is talking about the Penn location as well, then I apologize for jumping the gun.

When driving by today it looked like there was metal framing between the two large entrances so looks like some smaller retail in the southern end of the building. Also still no idea on the small concrete slab on the north side of the lot besides the ordener construction sign...

By looking more at the concrete slab in the parking lot...im thinking its more of a small shopping center rather than a fast food joint. Anyone able to uncover any details on this yet???

Yep, I actually found that out before you mentioned it, but thank you for the correction. They are still going to build a Chick-fil-A on SW 3rd (unless plans have changed recently), just not that location.

Raising canes will be going into the parking lot of Dicks. A sign went up this morning on the southern side of parking lot.

They must be going after Chik Fil A. They opened up next door to the inside mall location and now next door to the outside location. May have to try them. I have never had it before.

They also built near chickfila in Moore. OU campus now has one as well...as they already had chickfila for years

I like them. They have a Cane's sauce that you'll either love or hate. Only experienced them when I visited Norman, so they must be pushing for big expansion to open so many stores here in the near future.
