Periscope Down w Kelsey Grammar. We've seen some not so hot movies at the Drive-In just because of the Drive-In movie experience but this is only one we've left.
The worst film I have personally paid to see is "Saturday the 14th." Strictly awful.
Cheech and Chong's "Still Smoking" is one of only about two movies I ever walked out on. Their previous movies were stupid but funny, but this movie was not even funny.
Bigray in Ok
Whoever said anything by Edward Wood, Jr....I agree. No question the worst director to ever make movies. Anybody on this board could probably do a better job. There's a couple of good documentaries about Wood that lays it all out. The movie "Ed Wood" was actually a fairly positive portrayal. The real Ed Wood was a piece of work.
The worst I've ever personally experienced was Blue Velvet. It's the only movie I've ever walked out on and asked for a refund. Nothing But Trouble is a close second, but for me it almosts falls into the "so stupid it's funny" category.
O Brother, Where Art Thou?
Great cast and I tried, really, really tried to like the film...tried even harder to watch it all the way through...but finally gave up on it.
Close 2nd, Eyes Wide Shut. Absolutely dreadful.
Napoleon Dynamite
The first time that I tried to watch Napoleon Dynamite--on account of how "hilarious" a lot of people were saying that it was--I couldn't take more than about ten minutes of it. By the tenth time I watched it I had finally gotten the humor. (I wonder if it is streaming on Netflix . . .)
They don't get any weirder--or more disturbing--than Eraserhead.
Likewise . . .
It completely changed my opinion about the talents of George Clooney.
The worst one I've seen recently is Attack the Block. Waste of time.
O Brother, Where Art Thou is a great movie. It’s an academy nominated movie by the Cohen Brothers. Along with Clooney and John Turturro it stared Tim Blake Nelson, who is from Tulsa.
Here's some trivia for you. Tim Blake Nelson, despite his characters appearance in that movie, just happens to be George Kaiser’s nephew.
