Where do you tire shop?

Update: Decided on Discount Tire (went to the I-240 and Shields location). Got 4 tires with non-prorated warranty and lifetime balance and rotations for $1,200. That was the best price I could find (including online). They had them in stock and I was in and out in 25 minutes. Very happy so far.

I about passed out when I realized Michelin's for an Edge were as high as $1,450. There were some $500-$600 options, but the tires had spotty reviews. I've owned sports cars and luxury cars that never needed tires this expensive! They say the Edge is an 'odd size.'

I don't blame you. I think that's something that I would have, hopefully, known in advance before buying that kind of vehicle. That is extortion to pay that kind of price for tires unless you're a Nascar driver.

I have had very positive experiences with Sams/Wal-mart. They have always been the least expensive option on the exact same tire for complete out the door price. Servicerepairs have always been dealt with in a very fair manner. Batteries too.

Also, found out that if you are a Sams Club member, they will repair a flat tire no charge (even if you didn't buy it there).
