What residential project has a lot of opposition? The only one I can think of is the Lighthouse on Hefner, which I thought was long dead.

Or by locally did you mean Houston, like "Ashby highrise" ?

Charlie and David Bohanan want to build 18 patio homes on 63rd Street between Penn & Western. The neighbors say that there are too many of them, and that there isn't an entrance on 63rd.

Well Im sure an entrance will be made very easily..
Some nice, quality patio homes would be great and I think would be a hit with the older crowd. Many people want the same quality as their large custom home that was built for their family. Now that they might have all the children out of the house, a large 4+ bedroom house is kind of a waste right now.
These will be very expensive patio homes though, because Im sure high dollar was paid for that large chunk of land in Nichols Hills.. if only 18 homes are built, that will be very dollar per lot.
I guess only time will tell.
