You mention that you are a vegetarian. Is the daughter also? If not, she may want to branch out and go to the Classic 50's drive-in. They have awesome Chicago-style dogs (maybe even a veggie burger?). Down on Lindsay. Also, Ozzie's Restaurant is at Max Westheimer Airport, in the same building with the tower - so it's easy to find. Good old American diner fare and reasonable. I prefer the La Baguette on the west side, down near Robinson and 36th Ave. I dare say that most every eatery in the Norman area has some level of vegetarian fare.

I want to second those who mentioned La Luna (campus corner), Pepe Delgado's (campus corner),The Service Station (Asp, north of campus corner), The Mont (Porter & Boyd?), Hideaway (campus corner) and The Library (campus corner).

One can eat in a good restaurant every day of the week for a month and never eat in a "chain" eatery in Norman. Good little places all over town.

It looks as if we stick to Campus Corner we can have the entire year taken care of with a different restaurant.

Probably, but you'll miss Ozzie's at the Max W airport if you do that, and well, that would be a shame to never know Ozzie's. Of course, if you're ever gonna come down on an am run, then fight the b-fast crowd and enjoy one of the bestest b-fast experiences available, the Ozzie's all ya can eat b-fast

Great suggestions, though I was very underwhelmed by La Luna. The Mont's food is barely average and overpriced IMO, but you can't beat their patio during nice weather. I love it.

Others: O Fusion (12th and Alameda--my new favorite), The Pink Elephant on Main Street--they have vegetarian fare, Coach's on Main-I like their food much better than the Mont.
If you want to try fine dining, head on out east on HW 9 to the Whipering Pines Bed and Breakfast. It's near 72nd street. Excellent food.

Himalayas is my favorite Indian restaurant of the three in Norman. The service is always very good, too.

Sandro's Pizza and Pasta across from NHS is also very good.
