My friend works 7 days a week most weeks... and owns multiple companies. He works extremely hard, and he plays extremely hard too.Yes, I saw them a lot in and around Gaillardia when I lived in Oklahoma City. Gaillardia is the home of Oklahoma City's leisure class. Those people don't work for a living, most are wealthy trust fund babies, trust fund middle agers, trust fund seniors, most who have never known so much as how to push a lawn mower.

You know...I think more people need to witness that. Several years ago, an unemployed friend (who hadn't tried very hard to get a job) was whining about how his life had gone off-track. He was saying, "Why does everyone have a nice house except me? Why does everyone have an SUV except me?" I tried to give him some advice, telling him that he needed to get his foot in the door SOMEWHERE, but he got uppity said, "I can't work a 9 to 5 job." I felt like grabbing him by the ear, marching him to the front door, and telling him, "See all those big houses out there? See the nice cars in the driveways? EVERY FREAKIN' ONE OF THEM WAS BUILT ON A 9 TO 5 JOB! And, if you want to be honest, it's probably more like a 7am to 9pm job! Nobody gives you anything. You have to work for it." Ugh....
Not to mention, most of those people are up to debt in their eyeballs trying to compete with the Jones'. Here's some real hope.

I saw a yellow Spyker in photos on a friends phone, it belongs to his father in law, the friend has a wickedly fast Viper as well.
Here's what it looks like. http://blog.wired.com/cars/images/20...der_x_0390.jpg
It's an older car, but I sometimes see a mighty sweet BMW Z8 around the downtown area.
Saw a silver Maserati parked at the OU Hospital complex today... sorry, just wanted to add that lol.
can the mod rename this thread "OKC Exotic Cars"?
Thanks Mod!
Saw a nice black Acura NSX on Hefner Parkway around noon today. I've always wanted an NSX.
Hey metro did you know Acura is planning on introducing a new NSX soon? No one knows what is is going to look like yet, although most folks think it is based on this concept car seen a couple years ago:

Pretty sweet, but I prefer the ones in the picture. They released a pretty sweet one a couple years ago, but I prefer the original.
Love the Ac.
Now I know this isn't really an exotic, but whenever I see a 560sl (or any 107sl) zip past me, time stops for a moment, and my heart skips a beat:
Metro-
I have attached a sweet ride you can that you can drive on the weekends. Throw your collar up, put on your Raybans and parachute pants and listen to the Thompsan Twins. Aussie Motoring
Man what a flashback guys...makes me want to run over the the Umen store and get some new Zodiac driving shoes and some Cosi L'uomo threads, maybe tight roll some jeans and hit Broadway with my girlfriend from Canada in my '89 ride.
Or maybe I'll cruise town in my big peanut.
He came up to me at the Bricktown carshow one year and said "I have one of those too", referring to my Grand National. I'd already heard that his was a GNX though. Very similar in appearance but only those who paid up to $50K over sticker price became owners of the 547 GNXs that were built.
while not exactly "exotic", there's a pretty nice new Corvette parked out in my garage:
(shown here parked in the driveway)
of course days like today it will never see action, luckily i have a cute little Cobalt for bad weather
I love Corvettes.
" You've Been Thunder Struck ! "
me too!
here is my old one:
This picture reminds me of the commercial they had out a few years ago with the Cobalt (I think) pestering the 'vette.
