We now have the best term limits ever devised. At the end of the term, if you don't like their performance, vote them out of office. It is amazingly uncomplicated.

Anyone know if Mayor Cornett spoke today at the RNC or did he get bumped because of the hurricane Gustav issues that slowed the convention down to a halt yesterday?
He is schedule for tomorrow morning, but so for every Okie has been cancelled or bumped. Mary "Faith Family Freedom"..."I Support Bush"..."McCain is Not Bush 2, He is Change We Need"...Fallen...will speak 1 hour before McCain on Thursday.
What is the arrangement that allows a city employee, the mayor's Chief of Staff David Holt, to be an Oklahoman 'guest blogger' - in other words, press agent - for the Republican National Convention?
From a Tuesday post:
"This morning, we had breakfast again at the hotel. We had two speakers, Ron Kessler and Congressman Tom Cole.
"Ron came at my invitation. He’s a friend of mine who has authored numerous bestselling books and is a featured writer for Newsmax Magazine. He spoke about how effectively President Bush has kept America safe since 9/11, and he talked about the contrasting approaches McCain and Obama have towards the War on Terror."
Is Holt in St. Paul on his own dime? The Oklahoman's? The RNC's? Or is the city funding his trip as an aide to the mayor?
I learned from Ron Paul's non-taxpayer-dollars-convetion that 16.8 million tax dollars are given to both the Republican and Democrat parties for their conventions.
That's ridiculous.
Cornett's speech was cancelled. So Falin is the last Okie.
