Hey, has anyone had the chance to go skating or riding at this new park yet?

I drove by there the other night. It was pretty impressive, and there was quite a crowd. I guess it opened.

At night, drive south on Shields, and you get a pretty nice view of the skate park at Wiley Post Park. It's on the west side of the road, and on the bridge you have a pretty nice view looking down on it. It's lit up pretty nicely. I'm glad to see it!

In todays Daily Disappointment Metro section, it said that the city is currently looking for contractors for concession, security, and equipment rental services. Another step in the right direction.

Anyone know if Matt Hoffman's Crazy Freakin Biker's series is coming this summer. It's usually in June everyyear, I went to the website and couldn't find anything for this year. I'll have to investigate. Sadly, most locals don't know about this event yet it's a huge worldwide event that is usually poorly attended, especially for a free event.
