" You've Been Thunder Struck ! "
Good idea!
They also had boots with a buckle on the side...That doubled as a bottle opener.
I would think you would have to have some clean a** feet to do this pour
Boing Boing: Sandals with built-in flask
I like the description:
"These beach-sandals have a built-in bottle opener hidden on the undersole. Great idea, provided you haven't been walking in dog crap or anything else you wouldn't want smeared on the lip of the bottle you're about to drink from."
I hope that's not their PR guy - lol

Had some Red Tail Lager and some Old Speckled Hen this past weekend.
The Red Tail was GREAT. Old Speckled Hen...Well...I think that I'd have to be in the mood for it, but not a bad beer at all.
My most favorite beer is made at Belle Isle Brewery. It is the ABA (American Brown Ale). It is one of the most wonderful Brown beers I've had. It is one of the lighter of the dark beer family, and it doesn't have quite aftertaste that a Porter has. Sometimes I'll get a little crazy and have a shot of Blonde mixed on the top and it "sweetens* it up in a beer sense.
Red Stripe and Warsteiner...currently.
im a cheap date and prefer hard liqour over beer...
but i like simple beers, typically i just drink miller light when i go out but i also like -
blue moon
shiner bock
and tecate with lime
i'll try anything, but overall i havent found and high dollar beers that i like. like i said before, i guess im just a cheap date.
I've been into Chimay blue as a nice way to start off the weekend. Depending on my mood, I like Sam Adams Summer Ale or Black Lager, Pete's Wicked Rally Cap Ale, Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale, or Spaten Optimator.
Anyone here ever go to Beer Advocate's website? http://beeradvocate.com/
"Respect beer"
Fat Tire! (too bad you can't buy it here)
What a lovely beer fridge you have. You seem like exactly the kind of person I love being friends with. You know what they say, the best friends are the ones with the most booze. Let's be friends. I'd suggest you add a little more Jack, some Tito's and plenty of Dos XX (in the green bottle) first though. Oh, and I don't like lime pulp floating in my beer or left on the rim. Thanks.
What's the name of the place that's at 4th and Eastern in Moore?
That's a really old pic...There's other stuff in there now. No Dos XX, but if I'm having guests that I know like it, there will be some in there As for the Jack, I'm not much of a liquor drinker...Unless you count Captain Morgan's
East Moore Liquors? Something like that. It's in the shopping center where Buchanan's used to be. NE Corner of SE 4th and Eastern in Moore.
Choc Basement Batch Pale Ale
Oh, I checked your 4th and Eastern in Moore... no Fat Tire. The guy looked at me like I was nuts when I asked for it.
tnajk...You can't find Fat Tire anywhere in Oklahoma I don't believe....Believe it is supposed to be refrigerated at all times and our liquor laws don't allow it
May be other reasons but they don't distribute Fat Tire to Oklahoma....Might be why it tastes so good when we finally get our hands on it
I like Bass Ale too, but my all time fave is Orval. It's one of the few trappist beers left. (brewed by monks in Belgum) I don't know why but I never grew a taste for Chimay (another trappist beer). Orval is very pricy $6-$7 per 12 oz. and hard to find. It has a very complex flavor, citrus, woodsey, and hopped up. That damned Scott Woolum at Tapworks turned me on to it.
I bought that at 4th and Eastern, and yes it does say "keep refrigerated".
Probably why it tastes like crap. But I never liked Fat Tire (I lived in CO, so it was everywhere), so it's no surprise that I don't care much for their Amber either.
There was regular old Fat Tire sitting right next to it on the shelf too.
