Do people think this??? yes. are those people delusional about it??? probably. i have always seen the Crypto Market more as a digital commodity rather than a true currency.

Crypto is the future of currency, but not its current form. Just like early social media was the future of information, what we see right now is a bunch of Friendsters and Myspaces, with a Facebook and Twitter that will eventually eat them up and stabilize the market.

Evading taxes with crypto is no different than evading taxes with cash. The latest NFT craziness you've been seeing is no different than physical art money laundering. There isn't much that's being done with crypto that hasn't been done with fiat money. The real threat of crypto is blockchain technology and its future iterations. Done right, these will essentially eliminate banks and other financial custodians.
