The official name of the Scissortail Park Cafe has been revealed to be 'Spark'.

Digging this. I'm looking forward to see what the menu will look like. Bogert has been successful in every effort to date and I'm optimistic we'll see more of the same. Can't wait!

Its fine, nothing wrong. I do see some name challenges:

Caller: “yes officer, there is sparklers in the spark. I mean its in the park next to Spark. Sparklers, and its after curfew.”

On the other hand folks will easily remember this name. “Yes, we are Spark in the park, can’t miss us.”

Only question is, where do you park to get to Spark in the park?

Learned that this cafe won't open until the spring.

I went by there a few days ago and there is still tons to do.

That's unfortunate but I'm glad they are not rushing it, I think they picked a perfect operator and look forward to it's success. I wish some of our other publicly built spaces would up their dining game.

Finally

Love the food trucks but have shown up a number of times for them to be gone or out of food.

Like the places at Omni, but until the walk-up window is in use (haven't seen that be the case yet), not as useful at times.

Will be great to have a consistent, reliable option at the park.

Related, MBG foundation hired a person in charge of food stuff and is supposed to be working toward getting a new vendor at what was Ice House.

While there is still a sign on the door saying hiring, when you go to the website it says no openings (for Spark), so maybe soon......

I asked last week and was told mid-September; they had hoped to open at the beginning of summer.
