Yep, it's almost exactly the same (in many cases, down to the same artists), except the arena touring biz is probably even worse today, making it easy for Oklahoma's venues to look good against the "struggles" in most of the world's larger cities.Check out the figures when the Ford center opened and it was much the same as the BOK is today..... NEW center.... new acts.....
BOK Center is great, but it is not doing anything that the Ford Center hasn't done or won't do. It remains to be seen if and when the BOK Center will draw a major permanent tenant or major regional sporting events, but the best part if that, with both venues, Oklahoma should not miss out on many major arena tours.
